He has been discussed before in threads long ago. But his recent Jeremiah/Lamentations volume for NICOT just came out and was wondering if he is seen as a chew the meat spit the bones kind of theologian? What are his strengths? Or is he not worth the time for a conservative reformed perspective.

I know little but I have seen many good theologians incorporate some of his work. He is an open theist. So yes, caution is in order. However, he does seem to be a good exegete and highlight things not typically seen. Again just what I have managed to see from others not necessarily what I have seen.
