All, I have been asked to help refute the book "Jesus for President: Politics for Ordinary Radicals" by Shane Claiborn and Chris Haw. I know nothing about this book, but a friend of mine who works with youth had one of the kids in his group bring it up as a great book.
Has anyone read this book? Has anyone encountered its teaching?
I realize that the title of my thread (and the book) is political in nature, but it is not my intent to start a political discussion. I want to know of specific resources for dealing with the teaching in this book.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Here is the Amazon page for the book: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Jesus-President-Politics-Ordinary-Radicals/dp/0310278422/ref=sr_1_1]Amazon.com: Jesus for President: Politics for Ordinary Radicals: Shane Claiborne, Chris Haw: Books[/ame]
