Looking for recommendations of books that cover the history of the Nadere Reformatie. I've enjoyed reading some of the works of the authors of this time, but haven't been able to locate anything that covers the history of this period. The brief biographical/historical accounts that preface works by a'Brakel, Witsius, Teellinck, Udemans, etc., are helpful but only whet my appetite. While there are plenty of good works on the Puritans & the Scots, there doesn't seem to be much here.
Would like to add a book or two to church library (and maybe to my personal collection) if anyone has any recommendations.
