I'm looking for resources on the history of secularism; its origin and development.
My understanding of secularism proper (not the bastardised modernism we have now) is that it refers to the temporal realm; which concerns the goods related to the body, as opposed to the spiritual realm which concerns the soul. Most often it's tied to the Reformation and post-reformation era; and it has had quite the impact worldwide.
Thank you.
