This is quoted 3x in the OT,
Hab 3:19 The Lord GOD is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds' feet, And makes me walk on my high places.
2Sa 22:34 "He makes my feet like hinds' feet, And sets me on my high places.
Psa 18:33 He makes my feet like hinds' feet, And sets me upon my high places.
'high places" is personalized. Commentaries talk about the writer speaking of 'his' mountains of Judea. I think there is some personal spiritual application though:
One thought is: MY high places... we are already seated with God in the heavenLIES.... or God wants to put us on a high place He has made just for us... Moses spoke to God on the mountain top....
High places are a 'safe' and defendable position in war....
I'm sure there is something I'm missing! Can anyone help me?
