Shane et.al.,

I'm wanting to read some of H.G. Stoker's works. He had an article in Jerusalem and Athens dedicated to Van Til. Van Til at one time claimed that he was the best calvinistic philosopher living. The only problem is that most of his works is locked up in the Afrikaans language. Does anyone have more information or resources on Professor Stoker?

What is a good grammar and dictionary to learn it? Have they been translated? I am planning on learning Dutch soon. Will that help or hurt me learning Afrikaans?

There is soooo much good stuff waiting to be translated from the Dutch tongue and Stoker's works need translating as well from what I can see. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chris

I have tried to see if I could find anything on Stoker but havent had any luck. Dutch should help with lerning a bit of Afrikaans but Afrikaans is still quite different.

Please let us know if you have any links or if you manage to find any other info.
