I can't remember his name but I believe there's a presup guy who wrote based on his dissertation on how logic proves God. I think he's baptist but I don't remember. I want to say his first or last name started with a T. I know it's not very specific but it's all I can remember.

I think you're referring to Greg Welty. Then he coauthored a paper with James n Anderson called something like "How The Law of Non-contradiction Proves God". Welty is Baptist and Anderson is Presbyterian. I haven't read it but I read a critique of it.
The basic argument, as I understand it, is the laws of logic are necessarily true and are thoughts of minds (mental in nature). Human beings are contingent by nature so even the existence of these laws in every single one of our minds doesn't make them necessarily true.
You need a infinite mind that necessarily exists to ensure the necessity of laws of logic.
Having not read their original papers can't comment on it. But I think that's what you're talking about. Also the actual paper is complex so my synopsis doesn't do it justice. I don't know how to link to papers using my phone, sorry.
