Hello, I was looking for an expository commentary to go with my exegetical commentary by GK Beale.

I am looking at two in particular: Revelation by Joel Beeke or
Revelation (Reformed Expository Commentary) by Richard D. Phillips.

The Phillips one looks particularly good.

Thoughts?

A well regarded commentary was the one done by Robert E Mounce on Revelation, and he was historical premil, but gave all available options.

I have Beeke's. It's more sermonic and expository than exegetical. So I guess that goes with what you are looking for.

Very Very good and an enjoyable read

Johnson, Dennis E. Triumph of the Lamb: A Commentary on Revelation. Phillipsburg, N.J: P&R Pub, 2001.

Thanks. I was looking in particular for an expository commentary. After doing more research, I went with the one by Phillips.
