Dennis Prager and his commentary on "the Bible"

This is one of the top selling books on Amazon.

I love listening to Dennis on the radio.

It is not a commentary on the Bible but rather a Jewish commentary on the Torah (first five). Denis is a Jew who does not accept the NT and if he lived to be a hundred he would not plan to comment on the NT.

As I understand it Dennis takes a "rational" approach as indicated in the title. Amazon has placed the book in "Jewish sacred writings"
 
I haven't listened to Prager in a long time. His necessary presuppositions/hermeneutic as a Jew (anti Trinitarian, denying the revealed Messiah) would seem to me, to lead to all sorts of errors. :2cents:

I would think that he, denying Christ who is the one which the Old Testament points to, would not comment much of usefulness to the Christian. The Exodus? The binding of Isaac? The bronze serpent? Yeah, his take would be interesting, but it would miss the substance of the text.
