Yep, Carrie Underwood! She was the winner of last seasons American Idol.

And has a great family to boot! (No bias here ;) )

Wait a minute. Are you saying . . . ?

If you read the profile: That is what it appears he is saying.

You know guys, though many of the artist listed are wonderful,
it doesn't mean those are the one's his wife likes.

And as we can tell here, each of us have our own favorites, which is why; if he wants to know what his wife's favorites are, he should ask her.

I like various Gospel Artists like Wanda Jackson, Warner Mack, The Jordans, David Meece, John Starnes, Bobby Bare, The Oak Ridge Boys, but I couldn't tell you a lot of the newer artists that I like.

Country music varies just as much between female artists from Jeannie C. Riley, Jessie Colter, Charly McClain, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Faith Hill, Brenda Lee, Melba Montgomery, Skeeter Davis, Kitty Wells, Tanya Tucker to Gretchen Wilson and Reba McIntyre. (yes, most are dead and or no longer record music)

Male artist range from Boxcar Willie to Johnny Lee and Leon Everette, Tex Ritter to George Jones, The Bellemy Brothers to Toby Keith and Tim McGraw, Conway Twitty to Keith Urban, The Braun Brothers (a local band in Idaho) to Alabama.

I also like many of the artist you guys mentioned, though I may know them by song, and not by name. So it's rather difficult to know exactly which groups to recommend, because she may have a completely different taste in country music than we do. So it's still best he ask her which artists and songs she likes most.

A band called "Little Big Town" is storming up the charts right now. There music is very catchy and has alot of small town Bible belt values inter-woven in their lyrics. Thier song "boon docks" is a good example. I don't look to them for theology of course just good clean entertainment.

Country has such good lyrics sometimes, such as

The woman I had wrapped around my finger just come unwound.
