Northern Illinois
Stanford Indian
Maryland

Arizona State
USC (going for the underdog)

I'll have to confess I didn't understand this one either:

Decoder ring:

Visiting team, home team, time of day that the game starts (using a European, rather than an American time scale).

ESPN.go.com has odds for the games if you want some help with your guesses - the team that has the minus number is favored by that many points over the team with the positive number.

You should give it a go Stuart - at the moment I am probably going to win the overseas section by default.

You just need to remember the three (?) rules
1 Boise beats all (blue pitch) - this rule may not apply to Hearts fans
2 Confederate beats Unionist
3 Colleges from states which UK liberals dislike win (OK - you would need a degree in philosophy to draw a distinction between these two rules).

I think you may have this figured out, Ken. Just don't forget one more important rule, always go against Notre Dame!

I am as bamboozled as ever. Had it said simple things like

Hearts 5 Hibs 1

Now that I can understand

Thanks for the heads up - are there any other RC colleges I should be aware of?

Even Jambo might be able to understand this one if we say "Jambo - Notre Dame is the USA Hibs".

ANOTHER new winner!

Congratulations to Frosty, who took sole first place this week, with 12 correct games (though he, like half of us, missed the Seminole victory party). Interesting, but not unexpected, that nobody at all picked such a blowout by Florida State.
