I remember reading this when it came out in the 80s. Very good although I can't know remember much about it other than the impression it left on me.

I found "An Evaluation of Claims to the Charismatic Gifts" by Lutheran, Douglas Judisch, to be the best. It's probably difficult to get a hold of.
