Bow Hunting/Compound Bows

So I've been wanting to go bow hunting for quite some time, but money and time have not allowed me to do so. I haven't renewed by license this year yet, but the draw for Nevada isn't until April 20th. I am wondering if there are any other bow hunters out there. Do you have any tips? Tricks of the Trade? Suggestion for a good/low cost compound bow? Know anyone selling a compound bow? What should I look for? etc, etc.

I'm not a hunter anymore....due to kids etc.. But I'm a big Bowtech fan. I have an 82nd airborne from 2008 which I love. I tend to find a bow I like and stick with it for years.
