As we were moving from Albany to Rocky Face, several people gave me books as parting gifts. I wanted to share with y'all some of these blessings, since very few other people in the world would know the worth of these volumes:

The new RHB KJV Study Bible
Coxe/Owen's Covenant Theology from Adam to Christ
D.A. Carson's Collected Writings on Scripture
The 4-vol set of the ISBE
A box full of counseling booklets and minibooks

Then during our first week here, I was out running errands and learned that a pastor was retiring and selling his books. So I arranged to meet the man and picked up the following volumes:

Douglas Bannerman's The Scripture Doctrine of the Church
Warfield's Inspiration and Authority of the Bible
A. Carson's Baptism: Its Mode and Subjects
Boettner's Studies in Theology

My wife laughed at me and said, "Only you would go out to hook up the water and electricity and come back with a lead for more books!" :)

God has been most kind! (And -- it looks like I'm going to be busy for a while!)

Praise the Lord for his goodness.
D. Bannerman is a favorite of mine.

Yes indeed, he has been very good to us. I'm looking forward to diving into Bannerman. Currently about halfway through Gurnall's Christian in Complete Armour and then I'll jump into this new reading stack!
