I've worn Justin steel toes before and have been generally pleased. My last pair finally wore out. What are the best boots for the price? I wouldn't be using these everyday. More of working outside on the weekend.

I am in the same place, as my Caterpillar steel toes are on their last leg. Similar to you, I would largely be using them on the weekends to catch up on work around the homestead - as I work indoors during the week.

After polling some friends on the topic, the consensus is that Irish Setter are an excellent choice for durability. I'll probably go that route.

I got lots of heavy miles out of Timberland steel-toed boots. Lots of chainsawing and brush clearing and digging; backhoes and Bobcats and all the work involved around them. Very good value.

Personally, I'm partial to Wolverine Work Boots. They have many different options, and you get a good pair for a reasonable price. :)
