Bacon & Serrano Smoked Cornbread

Well, thought I'd make some chili for some of us at work tomorrow, but about midway through, I had this idea to smoke some cornbread. So, that's what I did. Combined the cornbread mixture, diced serranos, and smoked bacon all into the cast iron skillet, and put it on the smoker over some hickory for about 35 minutes.

I'm liking the look of that Josh. I think you should produce your own recipe book. I'd be first to buy a copy!
Thanks for the encouragement, but if I made a recipe book, I fear it'd either be very short, or get repetitive real quick! ;)

Your posts are worthwhile as, rather than just the text, the photos show the different stages of your culinary ventures! Plus it seems to be very much American style food that we're not aware of here in Scotland.

:up: Prolly more "Tex-Mex" than anything else.
