Hello. Was wondering if anybody has info on a Richard Baxter work called "The Cure of Church Divisions, or, Directions for weak Christians, to keep them from being dividers, or troublers of the church: with some directions to the pastors, how to deal with such Christians."
In my research it is looking like it is often mistaken with "Directions for Weak Distempered Christians." or an 1800's work entitled "Directions for Weak Christians, and the Character of a Sound, Confirmed Christian." These two have the same "Authors Preface" while The Cure of Church Divisions has a completely different one, including first chapter.
It also looks like a work that didnt make it into the 4 vol. or 23 vol. set of his works.
I am wanting to do this work, but was wondering if or why there may have been a reason it hasnt been reprinted, since it looks like it is dealing with a topic I fear for myself personally, and would seem many Pastors most likely deal with?
Thank you for any info in advance.
