Another interpretation of 1290 days and 1335 days. Except the interpretation of 1290 days as the first (Matthew Henry) or the second (John Calvin) pollution of the Temple. Another interpretation takes rise of Papacy as the start of 1290 years, as the cease of the sacrifice can mean the stop of God ordained religous worship, the setting up of abominations to be false worship and idolatry. Thus this interpretation points 1290 days to the event of Amargeddon, and take the 45 years as a time of conflict between the church and the enemies of God and the victory of Jesus. The millennium then starts after the 1335 days. This then, points somewhat around AD 2090 as the event of Amargeddon, and the millennium to start 45 years after it.

Any thoughts?

Somewhere mid 8th century to the start of 9th century. Jonathan Edwards has proved that late 5th century to be wrong, for if so, papacy would fall in his days.
