Annointing the sick?

If not, is it because they generally follow the rationale you and Dr. Strange present here?

I am not sure what is being classified as "Reformed," but the traditional Reformed churches with which I am acquainted do not practice anointing the sick. They do of course visit the sick. But that is established on different grounds. There is no need to turn elders into intermediaries in order to establish it.

My apologies for being unclear -- in using the term "Reformed," I meant to ask whether this is the common consensus/rationale and practice among most conservative confessional Presbyterians.
