I was just looking through Lane Kiester's recommendations regarding commentaries at his legendary Green Baggins site, and I noticed that he doesn't list Allan Harman's rather magnificent 2-volume, 1,039-page commentary on the Book of Psalms in the Mentor series published by Christian Focus Publications. I acquired them not long after they were published in 2011 and read them (along with the Book of Psalms) as part of my devotional time. While not technical commentaries, they are exegetically responsible (to borrow Albert N. Martin's phrase) and devotionally practical).
Lane, old buddy, you've got to keep up!
I did notice, though, that Lane does mention, on the New Testament side, the late Knox Chamblin's two-volume commentary on the Gospel of Matthew in the same series. Also excellent.
