When I view the diversity and variety of innovations into worship that have been condoned by the churches of Christ,
it amazes me that the almighty has not sent fire from the altar as He did with the false worship of Nadab and Abihu.
And yet there are other ways of judgment, even the giving up of His people to their own wisdom and understanding,
and the inevitable consequences.
We may not practice idol worship as the Catholics, but to ignore the authority of Scripture in this matter, and supplant it
with the modern concepts of approaching the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, is equally as heinous. The Apostle
counsels, "the foolishness of God is wiser than man," and, "your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men."
Oh the danger we face by" turning the truth of God into a lie, and worshipping and serving the creature more than
the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."
