Here we are at Week 10 of our 2024 competition! What a wild season it has been... the conference realignments have definitely shaken things up!
I believe we have another good batch of matchups for this week... There are a handful of which I am especially interested to see how things play out - I'm especially excited to see if Vandy can pull out the win over A&M.

Lots of tough picks indeed. I grew up a Penn State fan but always pick against them on here - that way, win or lose, I will have some level of happiness...

Do you mean over Auburn? I do think that is going to be a good game - Auburn has played a brutal schedule so I think their record is not really indicative of their talent/skill level. Meanwhile Vandy hasn't lost by more than 4 points while also playing a pretty tough schedule.

Oops! Still dehydrated from our epic Reformation Party yesterday.... both Vandy and SC have been spunky this year... curious about how they both do this week!

You didn't even pick the Aggies - Gamecocks winner.

(just how awesome was this Reformation Day bash anyway?)

Thank you for pointing out my oversight! I’ve corrected it. :D
(So everyone is tracking, I updated my pick to include the Texas A&M... and that moves my place in line from 3rd to 5th, so my pick submission time is after Rick's.)

It was fantastic. Each year we do a special sermon series for the month of October to celebrate the Reformation and that theme kind of culminates with a party we have under our pavilion. There’s a bunch of educational things for the kids, we have a historically significant person portrayed in character by someone from the church (this year, we had Lady Jane Gray) … We always do this really fun reformation quiz that serves as the formal lesson time and we have prizes, including bobbleheads of Calvin and Luther, etc.… and and oh yeah, we have lots of great food and we sing… Just a great time.

Just FYI - I noticed because I just about nearly picked opposite of you in most every game.

I am rooting for you though! :)

All, righty folks! We've had a good mix of submissions - NO unanimous games this week! Wow!

Our slate of games kicks off in a little under 24 hours from now... so consider this your final call to submit your picks!

Announcement:
This weekend I'll be heading up to South Dakota for my annual study leave. As such, I won't be available to keep track of games nor will I be at my final destination on Monday morning (Nov 5) to provide the results of the Week 10 slate. As such, I've asked @toddpedlar to handle the Monday announcement about the Week 10 results as well as taking care of the Week 11 slate and subsequent announcement on Monday (Nov 11) about how everyone did. The plan is for me to resume with the Week 12 slate on Monday, November 11. Have a great weekend, and I covet your prayers for a safe trip and a good study leave!
