Week 7 was a barn burner, coming down to the last games of the evening
- and the game which proved decisive in the end was the tie breaker game between Iowa and Penn State. Once it was clear that Nebraska was going to be demolished by Minnesota, there were five in the running - and once Penn State had dispatched the Hawkeyes in their defensive struggle, there were three tied with 11 correct picks. Of these three, one contestant rose to the top, and that would be, er, me. My predicted score of 24-13 was the closest to the anemic scores recorded by the Nittany Lions and Hawkeyes; Earl's 24-17 prediction was only a bit further off, and Lane's prediction of a 35-17 trouncing by the men in white was, well, a bit too optimistic.

So, with that, here are our scores for the week:

11: toddpedlar (winner by tiebreaker) :flamingscot:
11: earl40, Green Baggins
10: Edward, Henry Hall
9: RJ Spencer
8: Bill the Baptist, Edm, Sola Scriptura
6: Backwoods Presbyterian
