Thanks for sharing these two ebooks. Be VERY aware that John Murray (in his Covenant Theology articles) and Mark Jones (in Antinomianism) and probably almost all Reformers consider Tobias Crisp a major antinomian. Discern as you read and do not fall for the errors (perhaps Christological and law/gospel). Crisp and the men below caused one of the biggest disruptions in history of antinomianism. Murray changed covenantal terminology not as a reaction against dispensationalism but for two other reasons and one of them was to stop this error.

John Eaton (1574/5–1630/31), Tobias Crisp (1600–1643), John Saltmarsh (d. 1647), John Traske (c. 1585–1636), and Robert Towne (1592/3?–1664) as “antinomian.”

Even after the restoration of the monarchy in 1660, after the Civil War, the antinomian debates did not go away in England. In the 1690s, the controversy erupted between Presbyterians and Congregationalists. The highly respected Dutch theologian, Herman Witsius (1636–1708), played a role in this English nonconformist debate.31 One of the things that set off the debate was the reprinting of Tobias Crisp’s controversial sermons, Christ Alone Exalted.

Mark Jones (2013-10-23T04:00:00+00:00). Antinomianism: Reformed Theology's Unwelcome Guest? (Kindle Locations 391-394). P&R Publishing. Kindle Edition.

I really appreciate you posting that info; I was unaware that such was the case.

Duly noted -- proceed with caution on Crisp, y'all!
