There are less than 40 copies of the inaugural issue (aka volume 1 for you fellow Texans) of The Confessional Presbyterian journal which launched in 2005. Volume 1 can only be purchased as part of a set of current issues, and so, less than 40 possible sets of volumes 1-8 are possible, without look for used copies to complete a set in future. The set of 1-8 (2005-2012) is currently on sale for $95 USA ($145 outside USA) postage paid (retail would be $200). The fine material we have been able to publish to date amounts to 2,250 double column pages in the journals 7.5x10 format, which would equate to a 6x9 volume of ~4,500 pages. While later issues may be more impressive for content if not for sheer size—(we sometimes get carried away; some issues are twice the length of the 2005, and even it was longer than initially envisioned—this issue is a personal favorite because several years went into the planning (which involved setting the overall journal design; the CPJ was expressly designed to be a premier print journal), and some research launched other endeavors such as my work in the text of the standards, larger catechism, and other things Westminster. Get your set while you can. We hope to produce the CPJ as long as enough folks want a fine print theological journal holding conservative Presbyterian principles. Volume 9 will have a mini theme on James H. Thornwell and Southern Presbyterianism (same may be thinking, “about time”) and it will be due out, D.V., late in 2013.

The webpage says set of seven, can you confirm if it is in fact a set of eight for $95?

There are two items, the full set 1-8, and partial 1-7 below it, for those who already have volume 8.
The link in the OP is to the full set.
