Potentially moving cross country - unique situation, looking for advice

As I drove through Tennessee last year, I found a delightful little OPC church in the countryside near the Interstate, though not near enough to hear it. Barns, cows and silos all over, and a congregation half full of people who had moved from California or elsewhere because they wanted to shoot guns and homeschool the children. Wish I could remember the name, but a church search brings it right up. Tennessee has some lovely rolling countryside--you just have to stay away from Memphis and Nashville.

So many great replies! I appreciate all of the advice and suggestions. I think next step for me is to talk to some of you more in PM, and perhaps start reaching out to some pastors in certain areas. Cheers!

Me, too! My folks live in Decatur. I've lived in both Huntsville and Decatur.
My aunt, uncle, and cousins are in Owen's Cross Roads. We visit about twice a year. It's an hour to get there and three hours back (different time zone).

Why not just move somewhere in the country near where you live now? Move closer to the area that other church members live. At least you are familiar and your parents won't have to uproot to follow you. It would be a smaller move and you can still be closer to church and stay relatively close with family
