Disturbed - Sounds of Silence Music Video

This is easily my favorite song ever written. Disturbed sings it best. I love how they make the song gradually grow and grow along with the chills that run all over you. The video just tops it off!

This makes it all the more emotional and deep.

Garfunkel once summed up the song's meaning as "the inability of people to communicate with each other, not particularly internationally but especially emotionally, so what you see around you are people unable to love each other."

I love this song. Probably in my top 3 right now. I think it really communicates the total depravity of man in how the Speaker plead for the people to listen but his words fail to reach them. It is powerful and emotional.

I have also always loved the Police song, "Message in a Bottle" which seems to have the same message, human isolation/alienation.

One of those rare acts that is better live than in the studio. Plus one of the most underrated guitar players ever.
