An article defending pictures of Christ

I'm up for an edit, removal of quotations, sticking more closely to the arguments, etc. Can you get a target word count? I could do something by way of edit and then reference the entire article.

MSWord tells me that I'm at 9793 words. Gentry's article as it appeared on TAR comes up at 3794. Is that closer to what they're looking for?

That's probably a good target to aim for.
 
I have edited the paper and brought it into line with the target size, and added a link to the original, unabridged article at the end. My readers tell me that albeit very brief, the arguments are still intact. I have it in Word and PDF formats, and have sent the document in PDF to Mr. Frey. Let me know if there is anything else required, and thank you gents for your help and encouragement to this work. Send me a PM if you'd like to see the finished product.
 
Seems to me that AR has no issues with lengthy articles, for example, see this newly posted 7,000+ word item:
