BTW, while watching the UConn/Syracuse game, which is about my 442nd game this week, I recognized that I have never heard the word "screen" used so many times (this has been in all the games).

I'm in!

PS Bryan is a GA Tech fan so if you just pick the opposite of him you should be ok. Go Dawgs!

The Southeast region is tough to pick. It is loaded with lesser teams, and of the bigger teams, none of them had great years. If Pitt is for real, then this is their best chance to go all the way.

I am really stuck on a potential Kansas/Illinois matchup and a Syracuse/Marquette matchup. Very tough to pick.

I hope the "America's team" (think Cowboys, Yankees, Notre Dame football) of college basketball, Duke, gets beat by Texas in the sweet 16.

Picks aside, I am rooting for Syracuse.

Look out now! Two games in and I'm undefeated [thank you Butler and West Virginia] and currently ranked #1 in ESPN's Tourney Challenge as well.

Michael,

If you are still undefeated after Moorehead State, you are quite the visionary.

They just destroyed my bracket

Is Princeton about to make my bracket even more ugly?

Nope. Barely pulled it out.

Indeed Michael.

I was AFC (away from computer) for most of the day, and had upset alerts and final scores texted to my cell phone from NCAA

I was so happy when St. John's lost. First upset pick of the day I got right. The Penn State pick only fell by TWO POINTS, and I guess Wisconsin was too much for Belmont to handle.

I'm kind of surprised some of you have BYU advancing to the Sweet 16, and especially surprised a lot of you picked St. John's to do the same.

BYU is...well...mud without their head forward (who got thrown off the team for honor code violations). I cannot see them getting by Gonzaga, and think a lot of people will be surprised if they do.

St. John's IS a powerful team, but they are the most inconsistent top 10 basketball team I have ever seen in my life. They'd pull upsets on top 5 ranked teams like it was a regular day at the office, then drop two or three at a time to unranked teams or high-ranked teams they just tore apart (case in point: Notre Dame). It's absolutely amazing seeing their track record going the way it did and STILL making everything work in the end. If they made everything more consistent, they would be a sho-in for the Elite 8 without question.

Not intended to bash anyone's picks. I just got around to seeing them, and had to comment on those two teams. :)

Here are the standings going into today. BTW, that is one of the more impressive account names I've seen in a long time Bryan! :)

You guys who pick Butler must be Clarkians. Gordon Clark taught Philosophy there. LOL. Go Butler. I grew up going to the games at Hinkle Field House with my Grandpa. Go Butler. There were some good games last night. I loved watching Gonzanga mutilate St. John. I am saddened for Michigan St. What a comeback.

I played college ball at Richmond a couple of years. They should have been a 6 or 7 seed. I was shocked to see them with a 12. Gonzaga was a surprise. Today should prove to be exciting, though I hope my brackets hold up!
