I don't have anything really important to say. I just want another post -- gotta advance somehow.

That's the spirit!

...the one that gets threads like this one closed down in a hurry.

Unless the mods are having a good day, in which case they just move it to the Entertainment forum and ignore it for a few days before locking it. :)

I'll just quote you guys and add nothing. :p

Like this?

but in defense of the about-to-be-removed unwashed masses, it can be a bit time consuming even to find if someone has responded to a post of mine, or to read a longer thread to find out where I can comment. I don't even check my "facebook" every WEEK, to say nothing of trying to find time to thread-in. Any grizzled advice for those of us who want to stay "active" but have enough trouble marshaling our time as it is?

Check out the thread tools at the top of each thread. You can subscribe to just the threads you want to follow, which will make it easier to see if someone has responded to you.

Joseph...good to see you on the board. Hope u r enjoying your stay at Rucker.

Many moons ago(1975-77), I was at Rucker, first as an MP and then in the crew-chief school. Loved every minute of it.

God bless.

Unless you are very lucky, it won't be your last post in a meaningless thread.

Are we to consider luck here on the pb? :)

Okay . . . unless you are the recipient of providential blessings that result from the eternal decree such that you never post in a meaningless thread again, it won't be your last such post.

For me, I'll just stick with "lucky" and trust in receiving a charitable reading.

:smug:

Yes, welcome to the bored (sp?) Wendy. Perhaps you should open a thread in the Introduce yourself forum.

It was a terrible attempt at wit when I wrote about "luck". Just trying to get some posts up so I can thank many here for their godly insights. [I am a "wading pool" reformed believer].

:surrender:.

I will, I apologize if what I wrote sounded uncharitable, that was not my intention.

Seriously, have any of you received a message you are about to be removed? (Or did I miss a joke?)
