Any word on when his commentary and other works are going to be published by someone who will sell them at an affordable price?

RHB has some decent prices for some of Gill's works:

A Complete Body of Doctrinal and Practical Divinity
The Cause of God and Truth, 4 volumes
Sermons and Tracts in Six Volumes

And be sure to note Greg Fox's reprint of John Gill on Psalmody:

Amazon.com: John Gill on Psalmody: John Gill,Greg Fox: Books

 Seriously. But wasn't he reading his Bible in Greek and Hebrew by the age of 11? I mean, who wouldn't want to write as much as they could about what they're reading if they could do that?

I've read Gill on Psalmody and much of his Body of Divinity, parts of the Cause of God and Truth, and a little of his Sermons and Tracts.

As much as I want to read his Body of Divinity and Cause of Truth, I just want a copy of his commentary in print.

About two weeks ago, my husband and I were looking at a complete set of Gill's exposition of the entire Bible (old, but in absolutely pristine condition) at John King Books in Detroit for $200. Did we make a mistake in walking away from it? We could go back and get it. I haven't seen it anywhere else (including online) for under $375, new or used. I would rather have this old set than a new one, anyway.

We make some shocking finds at King Books sometimes...

Thank you.

Margaret

If you don't get it from them, then I will. :smug:
