Inserting images into the Wordpress blocks

Regretfully, Wordpress has imposed the new editor on me so that I cannot continue to use the old editor for my blog posts. While I have figured out how to justify the text, I am having a problem figuring out how to insert images into blocks rather than as separate blocks on their own. I prefer to have an image aligned to the left and the text alongside it to the right, as opposed to having an image on its own at the beginning of the post with the text underneath. Does anyone here know how to solve this problem?

I am still having problems with justifying the text. I have just published a post in which the text is aligned left when you just read it on the homepage, but is justified when you read the post on its own. Once again, the old habit of fixing what is not broken dies hard.

So I made a picture block, and then aligned it to the left. Then you can change the block into a media/text block, and the text appears to left of the picture

I tried that and it fixed the problem on the recent David Couper post, thanks. However, I am still having issues with justifying the text. It still does not show up as justified on the home page.

I figured out how to sort out the issues. You may still use the classic editor instead of the new blocks. It allows you to insert the images alongside the text as normal. While the classic editor does not have a justify button, you may justify the text by pressing Shift+Alt+J.
