Greetings comrades. Today I have a gift for @Reformed Covenanter for his repeated exercise of not oppressing the proletariat on the Sabbath. It is me playing and singing the Internationale (international hymn of communism). The playing could've been a lot better and to pick up my voice on the phone I basically had to shout.

Enjoy?

You are right about it being a hymn. I used to sing that with overflowing emotion back in the day.

I think I understand how you felt. The Lord brought me out of National Socialism, which is certainly a religion. I was sucked in, and the various hymns were quite rousing. I apologize if the song made you uncomfortable.

No need to apologize. That was so many years ago it was another life altogether. The LORD is good.

The fact that the video image is reversed (i.e., as your hand moves what looks to be down the keys, the notes get higher) is enough to give me a complex.

Comrade, you should not post here. This site is under monitoring by the KGB. Or else, Gulag is waiting you.

But it is not a hymn by the inspired prophets of communism (Marx and Engels), so I expect much dispute over whether it is fit for singing in praise of the working men of the world uniting.
