What are some of your favorite nostalgic 90s songs? I'm putting together a playlist and don't want to miss anything good. Thanks!

90's country? NWA? Or boy bands?
A couple of songs summarize 90s music:
Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart
Los Del Rio - Macarena
OK, that's a bit of overstatement. Meatloaf was putting out some music in the 90s.
No Melvins? This is generally my taste with 90s music:
No Melvins?
That's probably my favorite song of theirs. That album in general is excellent. The Melvins are one of my favorite bands. Revolve was a killer song!!
Well played, lolWell, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
Well played, lol
. Barely any processed foods anymore, for both of us...now our bodies can more fully use all the nutrients needed to function (within budget of course...)
I could add a few more...but I think these are a bunch to digest on for now.
Why have I not heard of most of them?Too many to list, but here's an accurate sample size:
Stavesacre: Loader, Anna Thema, At the Moment, Suffocate, Colt .45, Acquiesce, An Eclipsing, **The Two Heavens**, and pretty much everything they put out, mostly due to Salomon's lyrical prowess (in my estimation).
Randy Travis: He Walked on Water, Heroes and Friends, Better Class of Losers, If I Didn't Have You
All Star United: La La Land, Smash Hit
Travis Tritt: Anymore
Blackball: Everybody Wants to Get Over It
Confederate Railroad: She Took it Like a Man, The Big One, She Never Cried When Old Yeller Died
Crash Test Dummies: Superman's Song
Doug Stone: I'd Be Better Off (In a Pine Box)
Johnny Q. Public: Women of Zion, Big Top
Leaderdogs for the Blind: Yellow & Black Attack, Lemonade, Martin's Dream
Dwight Yoakam: Home for Sale, This Time, A Thousand Miles from Nowhere
Plankeye: Dichotomy, Wings to Fly, Tonight, Boy, Open House, Someday, Playground,
Diamon Rio: You're Gone, Norma Jean Riley
Just too many to name.
I lack the omniscience needed to answer this question adequately. Why have I not heard of most of them?
Crazy profound lyrics.
Interesting. I remember hearing the song on my local hard rock station and immediately getting their album. I recently rediscovered this tune and it still really holds up. Pretty good musicianship as far as my untrained ear can tell. I remember their album cover art not fitting their style of music to the point that I thought I had the wrong band. I think little things like that could hurt a new band trying to make it.Scott Reeder from Smile played drums on my band's (Volume- Requesting Permission To Land) album back in 2002.
