Does anyone have opinions on if this is a worthwhile organization to spend time with?
I think the organization and Tom Ascol have been referenced by other people I follow, so my assumption is it is fairly solid. It appears they consider the 1689 a faithful representation of the bible, so it seems that the organization is confessional https://founders.org/about/
Does anyone have any experience with their podcast "The Sword and The Trowel"? https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-sword-the-trowel/id1334359794

Their episode descriptions look like they may be interesting and they have a take on Beth Moore preaching at a SBC church for Mother's Day, that I am curious to hear (not that I have any doubt where they are going to fall on that one).

Chris,

I'm a supporter of Founders and have been blessed over the years by their ministry. I've been edified by not only the articles and books they publish, but I also listen in on the Sword and the Trowel each week. The podcast is well done and I'd recommend tuning in and listening to a few episodes for yourself.

Have a blessed Lord's Day tomorrow brother!

B.L., thanks I have a couple downloaded and will try it out.

Tom Ascol is a very solid and sound man of God. Founders has been a helpful resource through the years. I'm not in the SBC but I am certainly glad he is.

I'll just echo what others have written. Founders has been used for great good in aiding many Baptists to recover their Particular Baptist heritage.
