A place where I share thoughts and things I'm currently learning on the Christian life, Reformed theology, godly womanhood, what the Lord is currently doing in my walk with Him, and what He's teaching me in my own "pilgrim's progress."

Rarely (if ever) articulate. I may be the "counter balance" to the pretentious academics out there. I love God's Word and His church...Sarcasm occasionally abounds and you'll find a smattering of people who hate me...usually Romanists and FVers.

Living in a house full of Reformed and Puritan theology, I've finally come to the realization that since not everyone has 17th century books lining their staircases, I can and should share some of the treasury. The blog consists of excepts of works (books, manuscripts, magazines) which haven't been republished, are generally unavailable, & which I think may be edifying to others.

Backwoods is a life long Presbyterian baptized as a member of the covenant in the ole PCUS even though his parents were then members of the UPCUSA. Apparently this is where his stodgy Orthodoxy originated. He is also currently a middler in the M. Div program at the better PTS, The Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a "special student" at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA. Backwoods will either be attending Erskine Theological Seminary or Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2009 beginning work on a Th.M in Historical Theology while I go straight to the Parish. He also has been told that he bears a striking resemblance to Heinrich Bullinger. Any comments, concerns, and bile can be sent to bglaser@pts.edu

I attempt to use my blog to declare the glory of Christ my only hope, and this will take on various formats…the sharing of my poetry, my writings about Oneness Pentecostal heresy (former member) reflections, etc. Forgive me if these things are not beautiful or polished or perfect to you, they are not to me either! But maybe to God in His Sovereign grace He will use them in some way.
Net Effect - We are incredulous and skeptical of any truth claim that does not originate from or is not glorifying to God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) or detracts from Holy Scripture.

The Eggus blog exists to bring, “theology to the rest of us.” Not everyone has a seminary degree. Words such as justification, imputation, regeneration, transcendence etc. can be a bit overwhelming. Eggus exists to make theology accessible to all; written in a manner that is theologically accurate but also down to earth.
Eggus will feature continuing contributors such as Rev. Lane Keister and Dr. Bob Gonzales.
Mostly infrequent posts of links to audio/video resources related to current events in the Presbyterian and Reformed World. Sometimes includes political commentary - can't help myself.

A collection of absorbed thoughts and writings that have been turned in the mind, meditatively and inconclusively for the sake of the Gospel.
Grammateus (Greek for "scribe") is my personal blog site with an emphasis on biblical meditations and devotions, where I keep my writing skills in shape and try to provide edifying messages for followers of Christ. Typically my posts are about theological issues that concern me and close-up looks at biblical passages. I have a review section in which I have written one review so far; perhaps I will do more in the future.
But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig-tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Jehovah of hosts hath spoken it.--Micah 4:4
Random observations about my place in God's world while waiting for my fig tree to bear fruit.

Not attempting to create theology, just interacting with what i'm hearing at church, reading here and there, life experiences, etc. It might edify someone.

The frequently updated weblog of a 26 year old Reformed Christian woman living her life in return to the Lord that gave it to her.
My name is Kristine. I am a child of the Most High, helpmeet to a wonderful man, and a stay at home mother. I am also a classical christian homeschooler. I am reformed and covenantal in my theology and hold to the quiverful conviction. My husband is a minister in the United States Air Force and we currently have eight precious children, all of whom we consider blessings from the Lord.
A collaborative blog intended to promote the Puritans.

To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity; to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth- Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance, to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles. Proverbs 1:2-6
Most of time it's just me trying to figure things out.
