This is a "Biblical Study" and refrains from the more speculative "teaching" that is so prevelant. I have found it sound and biblical. The book is divided into several sections covering the Old Testament first, then in the life of Jesus and then the Apostolic era.

Surprisingly the title comes from the Hebrew roots movement itself. Stan merely agrees - perhaps not with the same emphasis as was intended though

Basically Judaism today has developed/deviated from the Biblical Judaism that Jesus would have been familiar with. Rabbinic tendencies present then have stiffled any dissent and now "control" what is accepted as Jewish. Baruch has a reformed position and has been Banner of Truth speaker.

Not my usual reading but as an exploration of modern miracle workers it is excellent. It is an expose of charlatans. In this it succeeds.
