| | | Body of Lies This movie features Leonardo DiCaprio as a "political advisor" for the CIA under Russel Crowe's finger. DiCaprio is in various Middle Eastern scenes tracking the sinister Bin-Ladenish Islamic fundamentalist character Al-Sellem (sp?)...I find the story quite gripping but some parts are a bit unrealistic as DiCaprio is supposedly in deep cover speaking fluent Arabic but switching back to a loud southern twang in other conversations that would make him stick out and say "american" in neon to all people involved. Part Jason Bourne, Part James Bond I give this film a 4 as the cat and mouse scheme of using profiling techniques to set a trap for the terrorist leader is quite intriguing. There is a lot of violence and not just a few swear words....directed by Ridley Scott of Alien and Gladiator fame who doesn't seem to make many bad movies. This will hold your interest. For a similar and slightly better movie, I recommend Traitor starring Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce. | | | | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to snap_dragon For This Useful Post: | | | | | If you gave the movie a 4 then why didn't you give it a 4? | | | | | | Not as good as I had hoped | | | | | | It doesn't look like he knows how to handle a pistol.
