Well my copy of St. Augustine's On the Trinity arrived today which I am looking forward to reading!

You also can get a serie of works of Augstine through christianbook.com for a very cheap price. i bought separated volume's for only $5,-.

after the first couple chapters this book degenerates into pure metaphysics.

I haven't read all of On the Trinity, but I have read some significant portions. Augustine has some curious exegesis in parts but overall I think he is a great read, especially if you want a good feel for western patristic theology.
