For my birthday my wife got me a 20 volumn set of "Spurgeon's Expository Encyclopaedia". It has no copyright info on it. I am trying to figure out how old it is. It was published by the Presbyterian Board of Publication in Chicago on Wabash Ave. I found an old NYTimes article dated March 17, 1898 which records a fire and explosion that destroyed that building. I am guessing that my books are at least that old. Does anyone know the history of the Presbyterian Board of Publication in Chicago?
I though Mr. Coldwell might know something.

You might try asking Wayne Sparkman at the PCA Historical Center; that sounds like something he might know something about or be able to tell you. We have discussed before the different addresses and iterations of the PBP of at Philadelphia; but I don't recall this outfit.
