The LORD Will Answer

Just bought this book The LORD Will Answer: A Daily Prayer Catechism. Inside cover says book is drawn from Holy Scripture, the Church Fathers, and Luther's Small Catechism with Explanation. Book was only $10.00.

1) Was wondering if any one is familiar with Luther's Catechism? Are they profitable?

2) Do other's use daily prayer book's or daily devotional's? If you do which ones? I see so many diffrent daily devotional's in book stores.

Thank you.

I've never read Luther's Catechism so I can't comment on it. However, I do have a couple of daily devotionals that I often read from. These are the ones that I find most edifying!

The Valley of Vision by Bennett
Streams in the Desert by L.B. Cowman
Morning and Evening by Spurgeon
Heart Aflame by Calvin
My Utmost For His Highest by Chambers
