The Missus and I (and "Peanut" -- our prenatal nickname for the little one she is carrying) decided to go out to Moe's for a late lunch today (they have that $5 burrito combo special starting at 2 pm on Mondays), and since it was only 1:45, we decided to kill a few minutes at the nearby Half Price Books. Oh, what a profitably day it was. I managed to pick up Leon Morris' book on The Atonement for only a dollar (it was on clearance), F.F. Bruce's commentary on Romans (part of the TNTC series) for $6, vol. 2 of Edward Young's commentary on Isaiah for $10, and vol. 1 of J.C. Ryle's Expository Thoughts on Luke for $6. Not a bad day for used book buying.
The Missus, btw, purchased a book entitled What to Expect When Expecting for only $6.![]()
