Sounds like a fascinating list. You'll have to read the first one first of course. Hey, did that come with a dvd of Quiz Show?

I'm not sure, Bob. I couldn't read the Table of Contents to find out. I have someone read me all the PB threads, and then have a voice to text software that fashions my responses.

I'm jealous! This is reputed to be a very important book. Most of what is wrong with American Christianity may not always be causally connected to the process Hatch describes, but its in the same neighborhood! Whether Barton Stone, Finney, revivalism on the frontier, the rise of Baptists, or whatever, the process of democratization brought with it more ailments for true faith than the disease it sought to cure.

What a good book to start with.

Seriously though, those were good purchases; especially JA James and the Songs of Zion.

Bingo! But there was an indefinite waiting list, so I'm not sure about the flow of availability.
