I picked this up at the book table at Synod. Anyone else read it? |

Haven't read it, but have heard good things about it.

It is an incredible treatise.
Charnock was going to comment on the WSC--a fact which you read in the preface to Tho.Watson's Body of Divinity, penned by Spurgeon; see the BoT edition--and these chapters are supposed as his initial labors. He barely got started. But what meat!
Watson was obviously a bit less ambitious, preferring to actually get through the material, than be so exhaustive.

It's one of the most valuable books on the doctrine of God that I've got in my library. You'll enjoy every page.

Benjamin,
I've read it twice and plan to continue to read it until I go home to heaven! The other three volumes of his works which I have are wonderful as well.

I'm reading it as we speak and just finished the chapter 'On God's Being A Spirit' and it is truly amazing! I can hardly wait to get into the next chapter 'On Spiritual Worship'!
I got mine at CBD for $14.95 and consider it a bargain; it is also a true keeper!!
