Book Sale

I went to a book sale a few days ago and got the following for $8.50! several in hardback!

Gesta Romanorum Or, Entertaining Moral Stories - Complete Edition Trans. and Ed. Swan & Hooper

Greek Philosophy: Thales to Aristotle - Ed. Edwards & Popkin

Greek and Roman Philosophy after Aristotle - Ed. Edwards & Popkin

Nicomachean Ethics - Aristotle

Politics - Aristotle

Lives, Vol. IV - Plutarch

Kant (Britannica Great Books) - Immanuel Kant

The Problems of Philosophy - Bertrand Russell

This may explain the old adage about Baptists being Methodists with shoes, and Presbyterians being Baptists who can read. To round out the adage, Lutherans might qualify as Presbyterians who drink to excess, and Episcopalians as Lutherans who know when to say when. - D.G. Hart
