Josh,

I'm not sure what's going on. Try logging into the old board here:

Josh,

I'm not sure what is unique about your account. I can't find anything wrong with it. It seems that whatever got corrupted happened days ago. The other address I gave you was access to the old site.

I'm thinking that it is on your personal computer. Recommend you clear your internet cache, delete your cookies, and reboot.

Speaking of U2Us, was the limit increased on this upgrade?

The Regulative Principle: Samuel Miller gives a succinct statement of this principle when he writes that since the Scriptures are the “only infallible rule of faith and practice, no rite or ceremony ought to have a place in the public worship of God, which is not warranted in Scripture, either by direct precept or example, or by good and sufficient inference.”

If Scott so desires it is easy to increase the U2U limit. Honestly, U2U is a bit of a bane for me. I prefer getting e-mails that I can file. It is difficult to keep track of important stuff via U2U. I've been looking for a hack that would allow user to user contact form but I haven't found one.

Rich, could you add an option to send selected files to email? It would be nice to clear out U2Us in mass to my email.

It's not a feature that XMB supports currently but I would LOVE that feature myself. I actually just posted that very idea in the XMB features request forum. We're on the same wavelength.

Here is what I posted on the Hack Idea forum:
Quote:
Though I like the U2U, it is a bit of a filing headache. I'm loathe to delete some information because it is important but I'm sometimes a bit lazy about cutting and pasting that information to keep in my personal storage.

Hack idea (in order of basic to "coolest" feature)

1. Give user the option to have the contents of all U2U messages forwarded to the e-mail on their user account.

2. Put a "Forward to my e-mail" button in the U2U interface so the user can automatically send the particular U2U's he wants to send to his e-mail.

Chris,

Click on U2U and go to a post you want to forward to your e-mail and look at the options:

It does support that feature!

I just checked and that feature was always available. I can't believe I never saw that.

Thanks Rich. Yes; I know I can do one at a time; but as you say, for those of us too lazy to do this each time we get a U2U it would be nice to "catchup" and send them in mass via the baskets instead of only with each open U2U. Can't the email selection simply be added to the basket views?

I'm glad you knew about Option 2. The hack request is still in so hopefully someone will run with it.
