New Job Commentary

A new Job commentary is (almost) always a reason for rejoicing. Hywel Jones is a professor at Westminster Seminary California.

That is great news. Professor Jones was an excellent homiletic teacher.

It was Dr. Jones elective course on Job that first got me fired up on the book. Our third child was born during the semester, so we named him Job!

I've already ordered Dr. Jones' new commentary, and am sure it will be a must have for anyone seeking to study Job in any serious capacity. I am only sorry that it was published at the point that I am finishing my own series through Job. Thankfully I had my course notes.

You can never have enough stuff on Job, I highly recommend Derek Thomas' commentary which is also published by Evangelical Press.
