| | | Henry, Poole, Clarke Combined?
My father-in-law mentioned that he used to have a commentary that combined Henry, Poole and he though Clarke, but wasn't quite sure in a 3-vol. set that covered the entire Bible. Is anyone familiar with this? Do you have one to sell or know where one can be obtained? I gather that no one's comments were preserved entire, but that an editor culled what he thought were the best points of each commentator. He would like to have one again (he gave his last set away some years ago).

I was going to say that if this was in 1 vol the book would be a deadly weapon! I got rid of my 1 vol. unabridged Henry commentary last year b/c the print is too small for prolonged reading, IMO and it's online anyway.
I've seen a 1 vol. that if I recall correctly combines Spurgeon, Wesley and Henry, but obviously it's an abridgement of Henry at least.

Yeah, the one-volume Matthew Henry with full text of the AV is not only an eyestrain edition, it's also the weight of book that one imagines Archbishop Laud was using for exercise when he ruptured himself. Thanks for the links. Those aren't what he used to have.
