What is one or two the best commentaries on these books from the reformed perspective thanks.

Not much good stuff from a Reformed perspective on these two books. I would recommend Fensham and Kidner, with Williamson for more technical matters.

Also, with a good magnifying glass, John Gill's commentary, Exposition of the Old & New Testaments (Volume 3) is helpful....hard on the eyes, (I think it must be 4 pt type) but worth squinting for!
