Commentaries on Meditation

We just had a wonderful ministry conf. this past weekend with Dr. Donald Whitney and one of the sessions involved the Spiritual discipline of Biblical Meditation,I am aware of only one book on it "The Art of Divine Meditation" by Joseph Hall, has anyone read this or does anyone have any suggestions for other resources on how to meditate from and on the Word,Dr.Whitney was very helpful and we had a great time, and through this I now have a hunger for this discipline and how to walk in it,I welcome any thoughts,Thank you

There is The Puritan Practice of Meditation by Joel Beeke, which is excellent.

Nathaniel Ranew also wrote about meditation. While the print version may be hard to find at present, it can be read online through Google books.

Ranew's book is fantastic, so I hope you can get a copy. Also, there's just been a printing of Thomas Watson's The Christian on the Mount, published by Don Kistler of Northampton Press, which is also very valuable.
